$$$ debits    

i was sold on

too much silly

in school 

preparing me

for discards

drop offs

rubbish tips

council rates

until pay packets

told me

i could spend more with less.

further confusion

with seductive depth

asks 

i maintain the struggle

i’ve bought into.
